The Federal Supreme Court did not enter into the appeal against the Federal Administrative Court's non-entry decision because the brief failed to meet the minimum reasoning requirements of Art. 42 BGG and did not substantiate any violation of federal law. The court also noted that the late hospital admission could not justify reinstatement of the missed time limit. In the simplified procedure, the court waived the imposition of court costs.

The appellant must set out, in a reasoned and concise manner, why the challenged decision infringes law; mere criticism or unsubstantiated assertions do not suffice. Where the appeal does not engage with the decisive reasons of the lower court's non-entry order, the Federal Supreme Court may decline to enter into the matter in simplified proceedings. A later hospitalization, occurring only after expiry of the deadline for payment of the advance on costs, does not by itself establish grounds for restoration of the time limit. Under Art. 66 para. 1 second sentence BGG, costs may be waived in such circumstances.

Nach Einsicht
in die Beschwerde vom 3. April 2014 (Poststempel) gegen den Entscheid des Bundesverwaltungsgerichts vom 10. März 2014, mit welchem auf die Beschwerde wegen nicht fristgerechter Leistung des Kostenvorschusses nicht eingetreten wurde, wobei der Beschwerdeführer weder um Fristverlängerung noch um Wiederherstellung der versäumten Frist ersucht habe,

in Erwägung,
dass ein Rechtsmittel gemäss Art. 42 Abs. 1 und 2 BGG unter anderem die Begehren und deren Begründung zu enthalten hat, wobei in der Begründung in gedrängter Form darzulegen ist, inwiefern der angefochtene Akt Recht verletzt,
dass die Beschwerde diese inhaltlichen Mindestanforderungen offensichtlich nicht erfüllt, da den Ausführungen nicht entnommen werden kann, inwiefern die Sachverhaltsfeststellung im Sinne von Art. 97 Abs. 1 BGG - soweit überhaupt beanstandet - unzutreffend und die darauf beruhenden Erwägungen rechtsfehlerhaft sein sollen,
dass insbesondere nicht dargelegt wird, inwiefern die Vorinstanz durch ihren Nichteintretensentscheid Bundesrecht verletzt haben soll,
dass dies auch für den Einwand gilt, in der Zwischenverfügung vom 4. Februar 2014 sei nicht auf die prozessualen Möglichkeiten aufmerksam gemacht worden,
dass überdies im Umstand, dass der Beschwerdeführer am 2. März 2014 - mithin erst fast zwei Wochen nach Ablauf der Frist für die Bezahlung des Kostenvorschusses - in die Klinik Z._________ eingetreten ist, kein Grund für eine Fristwiederherstellung erblickt werden könnte,
dass deshalb im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b und Abs. 2 BGG auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist und in Anwendung von Art. 66 Abs. 1 Satz 2 BGG auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten verzichtet wird,

erkennt der Einzelrichter:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

2.

Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.

3.

Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien, dem Bundesverwaltungsgericht und dem Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen schriftlich mitgeteilt.
