The Federal Supreme Court dealt with an appeal in social insurance matters against a decision of the Zurich Social Insurance Court. The appellant had been ordered to pay a cost advance and given an extended deadline, but did not pay within that period. The Court therefore did not enter into the appeal in simplified procedure. It also waived the levying of court costs.
Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG in conjunction with Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a and Abs. 2 BGG; failure to pay the requested cost advance after expiry of the additional deadline. If the appellant does not comply with the order to pay the advance despite warning and grace period, the court may decline to enter on the appeal in simplified procedure. Where the requirements for non-entry are met, court costs may exceptionally be waived under Art. 66 Abs. 1 second sentence BGG.

in die Verfügung vom 6. Juni 2012, mit welcher P.________ zur Bezahlung eines Kostenvorschusses innert einer Nachfrist bis zum 29. Juni 2012 verpflichtet wurde, ansonsten auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eingetreten werde,
in Erwägung,
dass der Beschwerdeführer den Vorschuss auch innerhalb der Nachfrist nicht geleistet hat,
dass deshalb gestützt auf Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a und Abs. 2 BGG auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist und in Anwendung von Art. 66 Abs. 1 Satz 2 BGG auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten verzichtet wird,
erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien, dem Sozialversicherungsgericht des Kantons Zürich und dem Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen schriftlich mitgeteilt.
