Der Einzelrichter zieht in Erwägung:

Dem Beschwerdeführer wurde am 12. September 2013 eine Frist angesetzt bis zum 26. September 2013, um dem Bundesgericht einen Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 2'000.-- einzuzahlen. Am 25. September 2013 ersuchte er um eine Fristverlängerung bis 8. Oktober 2013, da sein Lohn eventuell erst auf dieses Datum hin auf seinem Konto verbucht sei. Mit Verfügung vom 30. September 2013 wurde ihm die gesetzlich vorgeschriebene Nachfrist zur Bezahlung des Vorschusses bis zum 21. Oktober 2013 angesetzt, ansonsten auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eingetreten werde. Obwohl der Beschwerdeführer die Verfügung erhalten hat, ging der Kostenvorschuss innert der Nachfrist nicht ein. Auf die Beschwerde ist androhungsgemäss im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG).

Demnach erkennt der Einzelrichter:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

2.

Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 800.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.

3.

Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Bern, Strafabteilung, Beschwerdekammer in Strafsachen, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
