The appellant informed the Federal Criminal Court that he wished to withdraw his criminal appeal against the judgment of the Geneva Court of Justice. The President therefore struck the case from the docket and ordered that no judicial costs be levied. The order was notified to the parties and to the cantonal court.
Withdrawal of appeal; striking the case off the docket and costs: where the appellant expressly withdraws the appeal, the court removes the case from the docket. In such a situation, and absent any special reason to the contrary, no judicial costs are charged (consid. 1).
