The Federal Supreme Court dismissed X.________'s criminal-law complaint against the Luzern cantonal non-entry decision. Das Bundesgericht zieht in Erwägung:

Das Obergericht des Kantons Luzern trat mit Entscheid vom 12. Oktober 2007 auf einen Rekurs von X.________ nicht ein, weil sie das Rechtsmittel nicht hinreichend begründet hatte.
X.________ wendet sich mit Beschwerde in Strafsachen ans Bundesgericht und beantragt sinngemäss, der Entscheid des Obergerichts vom 12. Oktober 2007 sei aufzuheben.

Die Beschwerdeführerin macht geltend, die Vorinstanz habe ihren Anspruch auf rechtliches Gehör verletzt, weil sie nicht berücksichtigt habe, dass sie mit Eingabe vom 22. August 2007 eine ausführliche Begründung des kantonalen Rekurses nachgeliefert habe. Damit übergeht die Beschwerdeführerin den Umstand, dass die kantonale Rechtsmittelfrist am 13. August 2007 ablief und eine Wiederherstellung der Frist nicht in Frage kam (angefochtener Entscheid S. 3). Folglich konnte sich die Vorinstanz nur mit der unbestrittenermassen unzureichend begründeten Eingabe der Beschwerdeführerin vom 13. August 2007, nicht aber mit der verspäteten vom 22. August 2007 befassen. Die Beschwerde ist im Verfahren nach Art. 109 BGG abzuweisen.

Die Gerichtskosten sind der Beschwerdeführerin aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG).
Demnach erkennt das Bundesgericht:

Die Beschwerde wird abgewiesen.
2.
Die Gerichtsgekosten von Fr. 1'000.-- werden der Beschwerdeführerin auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Luzern, Kriminal- und Anklagekommission, schriftlich mitgeteilt.

No. The cantonal appeal period had already expired, so the late submission could not be considered; the court could only assess the original insufficient filing.
