Der Präsident zieht in Erwägung:

Den Beschwerdeführern wurden mit Verfügungen vom 14. September und 15. Oktober 2009 eine Frist bis 5. Oktober 2009 sowie eine Nachfrist bis 5. November 2009 angesetzt, um dem Bundesgericht einen Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 1'000.-- einzuzahlen, ansonsten auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eingetreten werde. Der Kostenvorschuss wurde nicht geleistet. Auf die Beschwerde ist androhungsgemäss im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind den Beschwerdeführern je zur Hälfte unter solidarischer Haftung aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG).
Demnach erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 800.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer je zur Hälfte unter solidarischer Haftung auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und der Anklagekammer des Kantons St. Gallen schriftlich mitgeteilt.

No. Because the advance on costs was not paid within the set deadline and grace period, the appeal had to be left unexamined.
The appellants were warned that failure to pay the CHF 1,000 advance on costs would lead to non-entry. As payment was not made, the Federal Court applied Art. 108 BGG and did not enter into the appeal.
How the court costs should be allocated.
The court costs were imposed on the appellants jointly and severally, each bearing half.
Under Art. 66 para. 1 BGG, the unsuccessful appellants had to bear the costs.
