The Federal Supreme Court, sitting as single judge, did not enter into the criminal appeal because the appellant submitted an unsigned filing and failed to cure the defect within the deadline set by the court. The appellant had been warned that the submission would otherwise be disregarded. As a result, the appeal was dismissed by non-entry and court costs of CHF 500 were charged to the appellant.

Der Einzelrichter zieht in Erwägung:

Rechtsschriften haben unter anderem die Unterschrift zu enthalten (Art. 42 Abs. 1 BGG). Da der Beschwerdeführer die Beschwerdeeingabe vom 10. Juni 2012 nicht unterzeichnet hatte, wurde er mit eingeschriebener Verfügung vom 12. Juni 2012 in Anwendung von Art. 42 Abs. 5 BGG aufgefordert, den Mangel bis am 22. Juni 2012 zu beheben, ansonsten die Rechtsschrift unbeachtet bleibe. Der Beschwerdeführer leistete der Auflage keine Folge. Auf die Beschwerde ist im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG androhungsgemäss nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind entsprechend dem Verfahrensausgang dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 65 BGG).
Demnach erkennt der Einzelrichter:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Luzern, 2. Abteilung, schriftlich mitgeteilt.

Whether the appeal was admissible despite the missing signature on the filing.
The appeal could not be considered because the defect was not cured within the time limit set under Art. 42(5) BGG.
Swiss procedural rules require a signature. After the appellant was ordered to remedy the omission by 22 June 2012 and warned of non-consideration, he failed to comply; therefore non-entry followed under Art. 108 BGG.
Who bears the court costs after the non-entry decision?
The court costs are charged to the appellant according to the outcome of the proceedings.
Costs follow the procedural result; since the appeal was not entered into, the appellant must bear them.
