X.________ appealed against an Obergericht of Zurich decision concerning non-entry on a criminal complaint. Before the Federal Supreme Court decided the case, the appellant withdrew the appeal by letter of 19 May 2009. The president of the Criminal Division therefore struck the appeal off the docket as moot and ordered that no costs be charged. The disposition was communicated to the parties and to the Obergericht.
