The Federal Supreme Court dealt with a criminal complaint against a cantonal appellate criminal decision. The appellant had been ordered to pay a CHF 2,000 advance on costs and was warned that failure to pay would lead to non-entry. He did not pay within the original or extended deadline. The Court therefore refused to enter into the appeal under Art. 108 BGG and imposed court costs of CHF 800 on the appellant.
Art. 108 BGG; non-payment of the ordered cost advance after expiry of the set and extended deadline justifies non-entry on the appeal where the party has been warned accordingly. A subsequent failure to comply with the advance-payment order precludes consideration of the merits. Court costs are charged to the unsuccessful appellant under Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG.

Der Präsident zieht in Erwägung:

Dem Beschwerdeführer wurden mit Verfügungen vom 2. März 2009 und 30. März 2009 eine Frist bis zum 23. März 2009 sowie eine Nachfrist bis zum 4. Mai 2009 angesetzt, um dem Bundesgericht einen Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 2'000.-- einzuzahlen, ansonsten auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eingetreten werde. Der Kostenvorschuss wurde nicht geleistet. Auf die Beschwerde ist deshalb androhungsgemäss im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG)
Demnach erkennt der Präsident:
1.
Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 800.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Aargau, Beschwerdekammer in Strafsachen, schriftlich mitgeteilt.

No; the appeal was not entered because the advance payment was not made despite warning and extension.
