The appellant withdrew his appeal to the Federal Supreme Court by letter dated 21 January 2014. The Criminal Law Court took note of the withdrawal, ordered the case 6B_12/2014 stricken from the docket, and waived judicial costs. The order was issued by a single judge.

Par courrier daté du 21 janvier 2014, X.________ a déclaré retirer le recours qu'il a interjeté au Tribunal fédéral contre l'arrêt de la Cour d'appel pénal du Tribunal cantonal fribourgeois du 13 novembre 2013. Il sied d'en prendre acte et de rayer la cause du rôle (art. 32 al. 2 LTF), sans frais.
Il est pris acte du retrait du recours et l'affaire 6B_12/2014 est rayée du rôle.
Il n'est pas prélevé de frais judiciaires.
