The Federal Court dealt with a challenge against a cantonal decision concerning driver's license withdrawal and traffic education. Das Bundesgericht zieht in Erwägung:

Der Beschwerdeführer wurde mit Verfügung vom 7. Februar 2007 aufgefordert, dem Bundesgericht spätestens am 28. Februar 2007 einen Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 2'000.-- einzuzahlen, ansonsten auf die Rechtsvorkehr nicht eingetreten werde. Der Kostenvorschuss wurde nicht geleistet. Da die Pflicht zur Nachfristansetzung gemäss Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG für den vorliegenden Fall nicht gilt (Art. 132 Abs. 1 BGG, e contrario), ist androhungsgemäss zu entscheiden.
2.
Bei diesem Ausgang des Verfahrens hat der Beschwerdeführer die Kosten des bundesgerichtlichen Verfahrens zu tragen.
Demnach erkennt das Bundesgericht im Verfahren nach Art. 36a OG:
1.
Auf die Verwaltungsgerichtsbeschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtsgebühr von Fr. 500.-- wird dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird dem Beschwerdeführer und dem Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Glarus, I. Kammer, sowie dem Strassenverkehrsamt des Kantons Glarus schriftlich mitgeteilt.

No. Because the cost advance was not paid and no additional grace period had to be granted in this case, the appeal could not be considered.
The court relied on the prior warning in its order and held that the duty to set a grace period under Art. 62(3) BGG did not apply here, so it had to decide as announced.

The appellant must bear the court costs.
