The Federal Supreme Court noted that the complainant withdrew the constitutional complaint by letter of 19 June 2009. The II Civil Law Division therefore discontinued the proceedings and, in line with the appellant's request, waived court costs. The disposition was issued by the division president under the applicable procedural rules.
Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG; Art. 71 BGG i.V.m. Art. 73 BZP: withdrawal of a constitutional complaint. Where the appellant withdraws the appeal, the Federal Supreme Court strikes the matter from the docket by procedural order. In such a case, the court may waive court costs in accordance with the parties' request and the circumstances of the withdrawal (consid. 1).

dass der Beschwerdeführer die erwähnte Eingabe mit Schreiben vom 19. Juni 2009 zurückgezogen hat, die Beschwerde daher durch die Abteilungspräsidentin (Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG) abzuschreiben (Art. 71 BGG i.V.m. Art. 73 BZP) und - entsprechend dem Antrag des Beschwerdeführers - auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten zu verzichten ist,
verfügt die Präsidentin:

Das Verfahren wird als durch Rückzug der Verfassungsbeschwerde erledigt abgeschrieben.
2.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird dem Beschwerdeführer, dem Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Solothurn und dem Finanzdepartement Erlassabteilung des Kantons Solothurn schriftlich mitgeteilt.
