Résumé

The appellant withdrew his civil appeal against the Geneva Court of Justice's order in a seizure matter. The Federal Supreme Court took note of the withdrawal and struck the case from the docket. It also ordered the appellant to pay a judicial fee of CHF 1,000. The decision was issued by the President of the IIe Cour de droit civil.

Art. 73 PCF in conjunction with Art. 71 LTF; Art. 32 al. 2 LTF: withdrawal of an appeal renders the proceedings moot and leads to striking the case from the docket. The court merely takes note of the withdrawal without examining the merits. Costs are allocated under Art. 5 al. 2 PCF by reference to Art. 71 LTF and Art. 66 al. 1 LTF, ordinarily charging the withdrawing appellant with the judicial fee.
