Vu:

l'ordonnance présidentielle du 2 septembre 2011, différant la décision concernant l'assistance judiciaire;
la déclaration de retrait du recours du 26 octobre 2011;
considérant:
qu'il convient de prendre acte de ce retrait et de rayer la cause du rôle (art. 73 PCF par renvoi de l'art. 71 LTF);
que le juge instructeur est compétent pour statuer à cet effet (art. 32 al. 2 LTF);
que la demande d'assistance judiciaire de la recourante est ainsi devenue sans objet;
que les frais judiciaires incombent à la partie qui retire son recours (art. 5 al. 2 PCF par renvoi de l'art. 71 LTF; art. 66 al. 1 et 2 LTF);
qu'il n'y a pas lieu d'allouer de dépens, des observations n'ayant pas été requises;
par ces motifs, le Juge instructeur ordonne:

Il est pris acte du retrait du recours et la cause est rayée du rôle.
2.
Les frais judiciaires, arrêtés à 300 fr., sont mis à la charge de la recourante.
3.
La présente ordonnance est communiquée aux parties et au Juge délégué de la Cour d'appel civile du Tribunal cantonal du canton de Vaud.

Whether the withdrawn appeal should be taken note of and the case removed from the docket
The withdrawal was noted and the case was struck from the docket.
After the appellant's declaration of withdrawal, the court held that the proceedings should be terminated by taking note of the withdrawal and removing the matter from the roll.
Whether the request for legal aid remained pending
The legal aid request became moot after the withdrawal of the appeal.
Since the appeal was withdrawn, there was no longer any need to decide the pending legal aid application.
