The appellant challenged a decision of the Bern cantonal supervisory authority in debt enforcement and bankruptcy matters concerning a payment order and restoration of the objection deadline. After his request for legal aid had been refused as hopeless, he withdrew the appeal by letter dated 29 March 2007. The President of the Federal Supreme Court’s Second Civil Division therefore discontinued the proceedings and ordered the appellant to pay a court fee of CHF 300. The order was communicated to the appellant, the cantonal court, and the debt enforcement office.
Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG; Art. 71 BGG i.V.m. Art. 73 BZP; withdrawal of appeal and costs: where the appellant withdraws the appeal, the Federal Supreme Court discontinues the proceedings by order. In such a case, the appeal is removed from the docket without a merits ruling. Costs are as a rule borne by the withdrawing appellant, in accordance with the provisions governing withdrawal and court costs (consid. 1).

März 2007 zurückgezogen hat, die Beschwerde daher durch den Abteilungspräsidenten (Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG) abzuschreiben ist (Art. 71 BGG i.V.m. Art. 73 BZP) und die Kosten dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 71 BGG i.V.m. Art. 5 Abs. 2 BZP, Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG),
verfügt:

Das Verfahren wird als durch Rückzug der Beschwerde erledigt abgeschrieben.
2.
Die Gerichtsgebühr von Fr. 300.-- wird dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird dem Beschwerdeführer, dem Obergericht des Kantons Bern und dem Betreibungsamt A.________ schriftlich mitgeteilt.
