The appellant withdrew her civil-law appeal against the Aargau Cantonal Court’s decision on provisional measures in divorce proceedings. The Federal Supreme Court, acting through the instructing judge, therefore struck the matter from the docket as terminated by withdrawal. Court costs of CHF 1,000 were charged to the appellant. Because both parties waived party compensation and agreed to bear their own litigation expenses, party costs were set off.

dass X.________ am 5. August 2011 eine Beschwerde in Zivilsachen gegen das Urteil des Obergerichts des Kantons Aargau (Zivilgericht, 5. Kammer) vom 20. Juni 2011 eingereicht hat,
dass die Beschwerdeführerin die erwähnte Eingabe mit Schreiben vom 4. November 2011 zurückgezogen hat,
dass die Beschwerde daher durch den Instruktionsrichter (Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG) abzuschreiben ist (Art. 71 BGG i.V.m. Art. 73 BZP) und die Gerichtskosten der Beschwerdeführerin aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 71 BGG i.V.m. Art. 5 Abs. 2 BZP; Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG),
dass beide Parteien erklärt haben, auf eine Parteientschädigung zu verzichten und die Parteikosten, die ihnen im bundesgerichtlichen Verfahren entstanden sind, je selbst zu tragen,
verfügt der Instruktionsrichter:

Das Verfahren Nr. 5A_512/2011 wird als durch Rückzug der Beschwerde erledigt abgeschrieben.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 1'000.-- werden der Beschwerdeführerin auferlegt.
3.
Die Parteikosten werden wettgeschlagen.
4.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Aargau, Zivilgericht, 5. Kammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.

Whether the civil-law appeal should be discontinued after withdrawal
The proceedings were struck off as concluded by withdrawal of the appeal.
The appellant withdrew the appeal in writing; therefore the case had to be removed from the docket under the applicable procedural provisions.
Allocation of court costs after withdrawal of the appeal
Court costs of CHF 1,000 were imposed on the appellant.
Because the appeal was withdrawn, costs were charged to the appellant pursuant to the cited procedural rules and the Federal Supreme Court Act.
Party costs in the federal proceedings
Party costs were set off, with each side bearing its own costs and no party compensation awarded.
Both parties declared that they waived party compensation and would bear their own litigation costs.
