The defendant withdrew her appeal against the judgment of the St. Gallen Cantonal Court. The Federal Supreme Court therefore discontinued the appellate proceedings and struck the case off the docket. It ordered the defendant to pay a court fee of CHF 500. The order was issued by President Corboz of the First Civil Law Division and notified to the parties and the cantonal court.

mit Art. 40 OG verfügt:

Das Verfahren wird als durch Rückzug der Berufung erledigt abgeschrieben.

Die Gerichtsgebühr von Fr. 500.-- wird der Beklagten auferlegt.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien und der III. Zivilkammer des Kantonsgerichts St. Gallen schriftlich mitgeteilt.
