The defendant appealed against the Zurich Cantonal Court judgment in a dispute concerning a loan and broker's fee. After the Federal Supreme Court ordered a CHF 6,000 cost advance and extended the deadline once more, the appellant still failed to pay. The court therefore refused to enter into the appeal and charged the federal court fee of CHF 500 to the appellant.
Art. 150 Abs. 4 OG; non-payment of an ordered cost advance within the final deadline leads to non-entry into the appeal. Where the appellant fails to comply with the advance order despite an extension, the Federal Supreme Court may decide in summary procedure under Art. 36a OG not to consider the appeal; the court costs are borne by the defaulting appellant.

Das Bundesgericht hat,
nach Einsicht in die von der Beklagten gegen das Urteil des Obergerichts des Kantons Zürich vom 10. März 2006 erhobene Berufung,
da die Beklagte den ihr mit Verfügung vom 14. Februar 2007 auferlegten Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 6'000.-- auch innerhalb der ihr mit Verfügung vom 7. März 2007 bis 28. März 2007 letztmals erstreckten Frist nicht geleistet hat, weshalb auf die Berufung nicht einzutreten ist (Art. 150 Abs. 4 OG),
im Verfahren nach Art. 36a OG erkannt:

Auf die Berufung wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtsgebühr von Fr. 500.-- wird der Beklagten auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zürich, I. Zivilkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.

No. Because the appellant did not pay the required advance even by the final extended deadline, the court did not enter into the appeal.
Under Art. 150(4) OG, failure to pay the ordered advance within the set time allows the court to refuse to hear the appeal.
