In an appeal concerning an architecture contract and alleged cost overruns, the appellant withdrew the appeal in writing before the Federal Supreme Court. The court therefore struck the case from the docket. Applying Art. 66(3) BGG, it imposed court costs of CHF 500 on the appellant and notified the parties and the Commercial Court of the Canton of Bern.
Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG; withdrawal of appeal and procedural termination; Art. 66 Abs. 3 BGG, costs after withdrawal. Where an appeal is withdrawn, the Federal Supreme Court strikes the proceedings from the docket by procedural order. The withdrawing appellant ordinarily bears the court costs. No substantive review of the challenged judgment takes place; the decision is limited to the procedural consequence of withdrawal and the allocation of costs (cf. consid. 1).

verfügt die Präsidentin im Verfahren nach Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG:

Das Verfahren wird infolge Rückzugs der Beschwerde abgeschrieben.

Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden der Beschwerdeführerin auferlegt.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien und dem Handelsgericht des Kantons Bern schriftlich mitgeteilt.
