The Federal Supreme Court noted the appellant’s withdrawal of his appeal against the Vaud cantonal decision in an expulsion case. Relying on Art. 32(2) LTF, it ordered the case struck from the docket. It also fixed judicial costs at CHF 300 and charged them to the appellant. The order was communicated to the parties and to the cantonal court.
Art. 32 al. 2 LTF; withdrawal of the appeal; striking the case from the docket and costs. Where the appellant withdraws the appeal, the Federal Supreme Court removes the proceedings from the docket without examining the merits. The withdrawal entails an allocation of judicial costs to the withdrawing party, unless special circumstances justify a different allocation (consid. 1).
