In Erwägung,
dass der Beschwerdeführer den Beschluss der Verwaltungskommission des Obergerichts des Kantons Zürich vom 27. Februar 2014 mit Beschwerde vom 4. April 2014 beim Bundesgericht anfocht;
dass der Beschwerdeführer mit Schreiben vom 2. Mai 2014 mitteilte, er ziehe die Beschwerde zurück;
dass das bundesgerichtliche Verfahren damit gemäss Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG abgeschrieben werden kann;
dass die reduzierten Gerichtskosten dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 2 und 3 BGG);
dass den Beschwerdegegnern keine Parteientschädigungen zuzusprechen sind, da ihnen aus dem bundesgerichtlichen Verfahren kein Aufwand erwachsen ist;
Das Verfahren wird infolge Rückzugs der Beschwerde abgeschrieben.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 300.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
Es werden keine Parteientschädigungen zugesprochen.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zürich, Verwaltungskommission, schriftlich mitgeteilt.

Whether the federal appeal should be discontinued after withdrawal
The proceedings were discontinued following the withdrawal of the appeal.
Once the appellant informed the Court that the appeal was withdrawn, the federal proceedings could be struck off under Art. 32(2) BGG.
Allocation of court costs after withdrawal
Reduced court costs of CHF 300 were imposed on the appellant.
The Court ordered the reduced costs against the withdrawing appellant under Art. 66(2) and (3) BGG.
