Résumé Omnilex

X. requested revision of a Federal Supreme Court judgment of 27 September 2010 in which his complaint had been dismissed for inadequate reasoning. The Federal Supreme Court held that the submission of 26 May 2011 did not identify any revision ground under Art. 121 ff. BGG. Without a written exchange of submissions, the court declined to enter into the request. It waived the imposition of court costs under Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG.

Regeste Omnilex

Art. 121 ff. BGG; revision of a final Federal Supreme Court judgment requires the invocation and prima facie substantiation of a statutory revision ground. A mere request to reconsider an earlier judgment, without indication of any specific ground, is inadmissible. If no revision ground is discernible, the court may decide without a response exchange under Art. 127 BGG. Cost allocation may be waived pursuant to Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG where the circumstances so warrant.

Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Zürich, 1. Abteilung, 1. Kammer, Militärstrasse 36, Postfach, 8090 Zürich.

Gegenstand
Revisionsgesuch gegen das Urteil vom 27. September 2010 des Bundesgerichts 1C_371/2010.

In Erwägung,
dass das Bundesgericht mit Urteil vom 27. September 2010 mangels einer hinreichenden Begründung im Sinne von Art. 42 Abs. 2 BGG auf eine Beschwerde von X.________ nicht eingetreten ist (1C_371/2010);

dass sich X.________ mit einer als "Revisionsgesuch" bezeichneten Eingabe vom 26. Mai 2011 (Postaufgabe 27. Mai 2011) ans Bundesgericht gewandt und um Revision des bundesgerichtlichen Urteils 1C_371/2010 vom 27. September 2010 ersucht hat;
dass die Aufhebung oder Abänderung eines in Rechtskraft erwachsenen Bundesgerichtsurteils nur bei Vorliegen eines Revisionsgrundes gemäss Art. 121 ff. BGG möglich ist;
dass sich aus der Eingabe vom 26. Mai 2011 nicht ergibt, inwiefern das bundesgerichtliche Urteil vom 27. September 2010 an einem Revisionsgrund leiden sollte;
dass ohne Schriftenwechsel (Art. 127 BGG) auf das Revisionsgesuch nicht einzutreten ist;
dass auf eine Kostenauflage verzichtet werden kann (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG);

erkennt das Bundesgericht:

1.
Auf das Revisionsgesuch wird nicht eingetreten.

2.
Es werden keine Kosten erhoben.

3.
Dieses Urteil wird dem Gesuchsteller sowie der Sicherheitsdirektion und dem Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Zürich schriftlich mitgeteilt.
