The Verwaltungsgericht of the Canton of Zurich, 2nd chamber, dealt with a tax matter involving E. AG. It held that a correction may not be used to remedy material errors in an assessment, and that a revision to the detriment of the taxpayer for the purpose of eliminating delayed accounting errors is likewise impermissible. The court therefore rejected the taxpayer-adverse reopening of the assessment.

  • Dividenden gelten namentlich dann als ausserordentlich, wenn es sich um Substanzdividenden handelt oder wenn als Folge einer geänderten Dividendenpolitik aus dem laufenden Gewinn höhere Dividenden ausgeschüttet werden als zuvor.
