CONVEYANCE - COMMONWEALTH PROPERTY IN SNYDER COUNTY
                  Act of Jun. 13, 2000, P.L. 134, No. 26              Cl. 85
                                  AN ACT

     Authorizing the Department of General Services, with the
        approval of the Governor, to grant a water line right-of-way
        in Penn Township, Snyder County, Pennsylvania.

        The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     hereby enacts as follows:

        Section 1.  The Department of General Services, with the
     approval of the Governor, is hereby authorized on behalf of the
     Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to grant the following water line
     right-of-way to the Penn Township Municipal Authority of
     Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, for a consideration of two no-cost
     tap-ins to the water line for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     and/or the successor holders of title for the property traversed
     by the right-of-way. The water line right-of-way is bounded and
     described as follows:
        BEING a strip of ground of variable width, contiguous with
     the eastern right-of-way of S.R. 1011 through lands of the
     Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. More accurately described as
     follows:
        BEGINNING AT A POINT, said point being on the eastern right-
     of-way S.R. 1011 at the intersection with the southern line of
     lands of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania;
        THENCE along the eastern right-of-way of S.R. 1011 (16.5 feet
     from center line) by the seven (7) following courses and
     distances:
        1.)  North 37 degrees 28 minutes 35 seconds West, 38.16 feet
     to a point;
        2.)  Along a curve to the left with a radius of 1311.50 feet,
     a central angle of 13 degrees 41 minutes 33 seconds, along the
     arc of said curve for a distance of 313.42 feet, the long chord
     of which bears North 44 degrees 17 minutes 21 seconds West for a
     distance of 312.68 feet, to a point;
        3.)  North 51 degrees 08 minutes 08 seconds West, 1109.21
     feet to a point;
        4.)  Along a curve to the right with a radius of 1014.59
     feet, a central angle of 14 degrees 13 minutes 44 seconds, along
     the arc of said curve for a distance of 251.96 feet, the long
     chord of which bears North 44 degrees 01 minute 17 seconds West
     for a distance of 251.32 feet, to a point;
        5.)  North 36 degrees 54 minutes 25 seconds West, 463.39 feet
     to a point;
        6.)  North 35 degrees 30 minutes 30 seconds West, 135.17 feet
     to a point;
        7.)  Along a curve to the right with a radius of 50.00 feet,
     a central angle of 79 degrees 47 minutes 33 seconds, along the
     arc of said curve for a distance of 69.63 feet, the long chord
     of which bears North 03 degrees 55 minutes 15 seconds West for a
     distance of 64.14 feet, to a point on the southern right-of-way
     of S.R. 522;
        THENCE through lands of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania the
     nine (9) following courses and distances:
        1.)  Along a curve to the left with a radius of 185.00 feet,
     a central angle of 30 degrees 34 minutes 36 seconds, along the
     arc of said curve for a distance of 98.73 feet, the long chord
     of which bears South 19 degrees 41 minutes 25 seconds East for a
     distance of 97.56 feet, to a point;
        2.)  South 34 degrees 58 minutes 43 seconds East, 92.84 feet
     to a point;
        3.)  South 37 degrees 34 minutes 32 seconds east, 461.11 feet
     to a point;
        4.)  Along a curve to the left with a radius of 1138.04 feet,
     a central angle of 12 degrees 27 minutes 04 seconds, along the
     arc of said curve for a distance of 247.31 feet, the long chord
     of which bears South 43 degrees 48 minutes 05 seconds East for a
     distance of 246.82 feet, to a point;
        5.)  South 51 degrees 12 minutes 20 seconds East, 525.38 feet
     to a point;
        6.)  South 50 degrees 50 minutes 54 seconds East, 583.83 feet
     to a point;
        7.)  Along a curve to the right with a radius of 939.82 feet,
     a central angle of 19 degrees 21 minutes 30 seconds, along the
     arc of said curve for a distance of 317.53 feet, the long chord
     of which bears South 43 degrees 47 minutes 27 seconds East for a
     distance of 316.03 feet, to a point;
        8.)  South 37 degrees 02 minutes 46 seconds East, 18.45 feet,
     to a point;
        9.)  South 05 degrees 06 minutes 28 seconds East, 23.33 feet,
     to the point of beginning.
        CONTAINING 0.91 acres (39,822 sq. ft.).
        Section 2.  The right-of-way agreement shall have a clause
     that requires the grantee to design and install the water line
     in a manner that in no way hinders the use of the surface of the
     right-of-way by the Commonwealth and/or successor holders of
     title for the property for paved or unpaved parking lots and/or
     paved or unpaved entrances to the property from S.R. 1011.
        Section 3.  The right-of-way agreement shall be approved as
     provided by law and shall be executed by the Secretary of
     General Services in the name of the Commonwealth of
     Pennsylvania.
        Section 4.  Costs and fees incidental to this conveyance
     shall be borne by the grantee.
        Section 5.  This grant shall not be construed to relieve the
     grantee from complying with the requirements of the act of
     December 10, 1974 (P.L.852, No.287), referred to as the
     Underground Utility Line Protection Law, nor to authorize any
     impairment of preexisting property rights.
        Section 6.  This act shall take effect immediately.
