MONTOUR COUNTY ERECTED
                  Act of May 3, 1850, P.L. 658, No. 387               Cl. 16
                                  AN ACT

     For the relief of David Clark and Andrew Clark, of Columbia
        county, and to erect a new county out of parts of Columbia
        county, to be called Montour.

        Section 4.  Montour County
        The citizens of the County of Montour who are qualified to
     elect members of the legislature shall elect one reputable
     citizen to be prothonotary and clerk of the several courts, and
     one to be register and recorder for the said county. 1850, May
