The Court orders that in lieu of granting leave to appeal, this case is REMANDED to the
trial court. On remand, the trial court shall enter an order allowing current appointed appellate counsel to
withdraw and shall appoint substitute appellate counsel for defendant. See MCR 7.208(H) (trial court
retains authority to replace an appointed attorney “except as the Court of Appeals otherwise orders”).
We do not retain jurisdiction.
