Court of Appeals, State of Michigan
ORDER
IN RE GUARDIANSHIP OF CAG
Docket No. 382120
LC No. 24-216166-GA
Stephen L. Borrello, Chief Judge Pro Tem, acting under MCR 7.203(F)(1), orders:
The motion to waive fees is GRANTED for this appeal only.
The claim of appeal is DISMISSED for lack of jurisdiction because the July 31, 2026 order
denying an objection to an April 17, 2026 order is not a final order appealable by right. MCR 7.203(A)(2);
MCR 5.801(A). The earlier order entered on April 17, 2026 aggrieved appellant and, assuming without
deciding that the April 17, 2026 order was appealable by right, appellant did not claim an appeal from that
order. Dismissal is without prejudice to the filing of a late appeal under MCR 7.205(A)(4), provided such
a filing meets all requirements under the court rules and is not time barred.
