The motions to show cause Court Reporters Alfreda Conners (R 5119), Rochelle Waldrip
(R 1299), and Verda Turner (R 102) are denied, the reporters having since filed the transcripts or required
notifications with the Court.
The motion to show cause Court Reporter Regenia Veasy (R 2350) is treated as a motion
to extend time for filing the transcript and is GRANTED. The time for filing the transcript is EXTENDED
to January 25, 2026.
Court Reporter Veasy is ASSESSED costs in the amount of $50 as a sanction for the failure
to comply with the duties under MCR 7.210(B)(3) and the failure to file an answer to the motion to show
cause or other applicable motion. The costs shall be paid to the Clerk of the Court within 21 days of the
Clerk’s certification of this order.
The Clerk’s office is directed to email a copy of this order to the above-referenced court
reporters and Judicial Circuit Court Director, Case Processing and Court Reporting Services Nancy
Hames.
