The motion to correct filing and convert claim of appeal to application for leave to appeal
is GRANTED to the following extent. Insofar as the September 4, 2025 trial court order denying plaintiff-
appellant’s motion for clarification and amendment of the trial court’s September 3, 2025 order is not
properly in the scope of the present appeal of right, the claim of appeal is treated as an application for
leave to appeal with regard to the September 4, 2025 order, and the application is GRANTED. This does
not allow for the filing of further briefs on appeal because plaintiff-appellant’s brief on appeal already
addresses both the September 3, 2025 and September 4, 2025 orders. We note that the September 3, 2025
order is plainly a final order appealable of right, so there is no need to treat the claim of appeal as an
application as to that order. MCR 7.202(6)(a)(i); MCR 7.203(A)(1).
