Brock A. Swartzle, Judge, acting under MCR 7.211(E)(2), orders:
The motion to file an amici curiae brief jointly on behalf of the American Civil Liberties
Union of Michigan and the Juvenile Law Center is GRANTED. However, within 14 days after the date
of this order, these amici curiae shall file a corrected amici curiae brief with the footnote required by MCR
7.212(H)(4). While the Juvenile Law Center would not be required to include such a footnote if it were
the only relevant amicus curiae the footnote is required because there is no exemption in MCR 7.212(H)(4)
for the American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan, as an organization that is tax exempt under 26 U.S.C.
501(c)(4) rather than 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6), from providing such a footnote.
