On the Court’s own motion, the parties are directed to file supplemental briefs with this
Court within 14 days of the date of this order. The supplemental briefs shall address whether appellants’
basis for jurisdiction, MCR 7.203(A)(1), is valid considering the June 6, 2024 trial court order appealed
from expressly states “[t]his Order does not resolve the last pending claims nor close the case,” and the
July 8, 2024 order appealed from expressly states that it is not a “final order and does not resolve all
pending claims.” The brief can also address whether this court has jurisdiction on any other ground. The
brief is limited to 10 pages, and no response or reply briefs are permitted without permission from this
Court.
