In lieu of granting the motion to extend time to file appellant’s brief the motion is treated
as a motion for guidance. The motion for guidance is GRANTED to the extent that this appeal is
DISMISSED pursuant to MCR 7.216(A)(7).
The final judgment of dismissal is STAYED for a period of 28 days within which period
appellant may file a written communication with this Court. The communication shall be treated by the
Court as a motion for reconsideration.
Within seven days after the date of this order defendant-appellant’s counsel shall send
copies of this order to defendant at the same two addresses to which she sent letters to defendant as
referenced in the motion and file with this Court a proof of service setting forth such service of this order
on defendant.
