Stephen L. Borrello, Chief Judge Pro Tem, acting under MCR 7.203(F)(1), orders:
The claim of appeal is DISMISSED for lack of jurisdiction because the February 17, 2026
order appealed from is not a final order as defined in MCR 7.202(6)(a). MCR 7.203(A)(1). Specifically,
the postjudgment order did not grant or deny a motion to change legal custody, physical custody, or
domicile under MCR 7.202(6)(a)(iii). The February 17, 2026 order only stated that there was proper cause
or a change in circumstances existed to review the issue of custody and referred the issue of custody to
the Friend of the Court for an investigation and recommendation. Dismissal is without prejudice to the
filing of a late appeal under MCR 7.205(A)(4), provided such a filing meets all requirements under the
court rules and is not time-barred.
