The Court orders that in lieu of granting the application for leave to appeal, this case is
REMANDED to the trial court to enter an amended judgment of sentence awarding defendant credit
against the jail sentence imposed in this case for the time that he was incarcerated in the Tuscola County
Jail prior to sentencing in this case. See MCL 769.11b; People v Allen, 507 Mich 597, 613; 968 NW2d
532 (2021). This was apparently from approximately September 6, 2025 to December 23, 2025, but the
trial court shall determine and award the exact number of appropriate days of jail credit on remand.
We do not retain jurisdiction.
