Court of Appeals, State of Michigan
ORDER
IN RE LGS MINOR
Docket No. 380886
LC No. 2025-000013-AY
Michael F. Gadola, Chief Judge, acting under MCR 7.203(F)(1), orders:
The delayed application for leave to appeal is DISMISSED for lack of jurisdiction because
appellant failed to file the application within 63 days of the February 24, 2026 order terminating his
parental rights as required by MCR 3.993(C)(3) and MCR 7.205(A)(3).
The motion to “accept delayed filing due to incarceration, limited participation, and due
process violations” is DENIED. This Court is not at liberty to waive the applicable time limits because
those limits are jurisdictional. See MCR 7.205(A); Chen v Wayne State Univ, 284 Mich App 172, 199
n 8 (2009).
The motion to waive this Court’s fees is DENIED as MOOT.
