The motion to waive fees is GRANTED for this case only.
The motion to dismiss pursuant to MCR 7.211(C)(2) is GRANTED for the reason that
the appeal is not within the Court of Appeals jurisdiction because it was not timely filed. MCR
7.204(A). The claim of appeal was not filed within 21 days after entry of the final order appealed from
and the motion to correct the record, filed after the trial court already denied a properly filed motion for
reconsideration, was not filed within the initial 21-day appeal period or within further time allowed by
the trial court. MCR 7.204(A)(1). Dismissal is without prejudice to the filing of a late appeal under
MCR 7.205(A)(4), provided such a filing meets all requirements under the court rules and is not time-
barred.
