Court of Appeals, State of Michigan
ORDER
KADI A. KAMENDAT V JACOB T. MORSE
Docket No. 376243
LC No. 17-029669-DM
Adrienne N. Young
Presiding Judge

Thomas C. Cameron
Judges
The motion for immediate consideration is GRANTED.
The motion for stay pending appeal is DENIED.
The motion to “supplement the record with transcripts” is DENIED as MOOT, given that
defendant subsequently provided the transcripts that he asked this Court to acquire on its own.
Pursuant to MCR 7.211(C)(4) and MCR 7.205(E)(2), and in lieu of granting the application
for leave to appeal, we PEREMPTORILY REVERSE in part the July 1, 2025 order to the extent that the
trial court delegated parenting time to the discretion of the children. By affording the children discretion
whether to attend parenting time, the trial court improperly ceded its obligation to determine parenting
time. See MCL 722.27a(1).
In all other respects the application is DENIED for lack of merit in the grounds presented.
