PETITIONING THE COURT
To issue a warrant.
On May 9, 2024, conditions of probation were reviewed and signed by Ms. Gorst acknowledging an understanding
of her requirements and conditions.
The probation officer believes that the offender has violated the following conditions of supervision:

Special Condition #4: You must abstain from the use of illegal controlled substances, and
must submit to urinalysis and sweat patch testing, as directed by the supervising officer, but
no more than 6 tests per month, in order to confirm continued abstinence from these
substances.
Supporting Evidence: Ms. Gorst is alleged to be in violation of her conditions of probation
by consuming methamphetamine on or before August 6, 2024.
On August 7, 2024, this officer received a telephone call from the owner of the clean and
sober house where Ms. Gorst was residing. Per the house owner, Ms. Gorst was evicted on
August 6, 2024, for drug use. Additionally, she stated Ms. Gorst and two other residents
(who were also evicted) had been consuming drugs since July 2024.
This officer made telephone contact with Ms. Gorst and directed her to report to the
probation office on August 7, 2024. Ms. Gorst reported to the probation office at 4:50 p.m.
(To be noted, the office closes at 5 p.m.). Ms. Gorst stalled submitting to a random drug test

between 4:50 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.,when she finally admitted she consumed methamphetamine
on August 6, 2024.

Supporting Evidence: Ms. Gorst is alleged to be in violation of her conditions of probation
by consuming fentanyl on, before or after August 10, 2024.
On August 14, 2024, Ms. Gorst reported to the probation office as directed. She was asked
to submit to a random drug test. Prior to the drug test, this officer asked if the sample would
be positive or negative. Ms. Gorst verbally admitted to consuming fentanyl on, before or
after August 10, 2024.

Standard Condition #2: After initially reporting to the probation office, you will receive
instructions from the court or the probation officer about how and when you must report to
the probation officer, and you must report to the probation officer as instructed.
Supporting Evidence: Ms. Gorst is alleged to be in violation of her conditions of probation
by failing to contact her probation officer as directed since August 15, 2024.
On August 7, 2024, Ms. Gorst reported to the probation office to address the concerns noted
in violation number 1. This officer directed Ms. Gorst to contact this officer daily via
telephone to check in to provide updates on her housing and treatment situation.
On August 14, 2024, Ms. Gorst reported to the probation office. Based on her continued
drug use, this officer directed Ms. Gorst to check herself into the detox facility located at
Comprehensive Healthcare after her scheduled assessment at Triumph Treatment Services
on August 15, 2024. Additionally, this officer directed her to call upon arrival at detox.
On August 15, 2024, Ms. Gorst attended her substance use disorder assessment at Triumph
Treatment Services. This officer directed Ms. Gorst again, to check herself into detox. Ms.
Gorst sent a text message to this officer on August 15, at 5:59 p.m. stating: “I had my
assessment done and waiting for the results now. My next appointment is on Thursday next
week at 3:30, to get the results of this assessment and that's about it but I just wanted to text
you and let you know.” This officer immediately texted Ms. Gorst back and directed her to
check herself into detox and call upon arrival; however, she did not respond. This officer
sent text messages to Ms. Gorst on August 15, 16, and 18, 2024, without a response.
As of the submission of this report, Ms. Gorst has failed to call, text or respond to this
officer as directed.

Supporting Evidence: Ms. Gorst is alleged to be in violation of her conditions of probation
by failing to show for a random drug test at Merit Resources Services on August 15, 2024.
On August 7, 2024, Ms. Gorst was placed onto the Merit Resource Services (Merit) random
color line testing program. She is subject to three random drug tests per month.
On August 16, 2024, this office received a failure to show notice from Merit noting Ms.
Gorst was a “no show” for random drug testing on August 15, 2024.

Supporting Evidence: Ms. Gorst is alleged to be in violation of her conditions of probation
by consuming fentanyl on August 14, 2024.
On August 14, 2024, Ms. Gorst reported to the probation office. A random drug test was
collected. Prior to the test, this officer asked Ms. Gorst if the sample would be negative, she
replied "maybe." The sample tested presumptive positive for morphine and
methamphetamine; it was sealed in front of Ms. Gorst and sent to Abbott Laboratory for
confirmation. Results were received from Abbott Laboratory on August 19, 2024,
confirming a positive reading for fentanyl. To be noted, as of the submission of this report,
Abbott Laboratory is still testing the urine sample for methamphetamine.
The U.S. Probation Office respectfully recommends the Court issue a warrant requiring the defendant to appear to
answer to the allegations contained in this petition.
