The Federal Constitutional Court repeated its earlier interim order in favour of an Iraqi asylum applicant. It again prohibited the transfer to Greece under the Dublin system and extended the protection for six months, at the latest until the constitutional complaint is decided. The order was issued as interim relief in the constitutional complaint proceedings.
§ 32 Abs. 1 BVerfGG; repetition of an interim order and provisional suspension of transfer measures pending constitutional complaint proceedings. Interim relief may be extended where the court continues to consider provisional protection necessary until the principal proceedings are decided. The order is limited in time and may be repeated for a defined period, here six months at the most, and remains tied to the pendency of the constitutional complaint.
