The Federal Council adopted a decree under the Federal Act on Political Rights fixing the nationwide popular vote on the popular initiative against abuses in price formation and the Federal Assembly’s counterproposal for 28 November 1982. It also assigned the Federal Chancellery the task of taking all legally required implementation measures. The act was to be communicated to the cantons and published in the Federal Gazette.
Art. 10 para. 1 Federal Act on Political Rights; fixing of the date for a popular vote and allocation of implementation tasks. The Federal Council is competent to determine the day of a nationwide popular vote on a popular initiative and any counterproposal. It may further entrust the Federal Chancellery with the necessary organisational measures for the conduct of the vote in accordance with the legal prescriptions.

Le Conseil fédéral suisse,
vu l'article 10, 1er alinéa, de la loi fédérale du 17 décembre 19761) sur les droits politiques,
arrête :
Article premier
La votation populaire sur l'initiative populaire du 8 juin 19792) «tendant à empêcher des abus dans la formation des prix» et le contre-projet de l'Assem- blée fédérale (arrêté fédéral du 19 mars 19823)) aura lieu sur tout le territoire de la Confédération, le 28 novembre 1982 ainsi que les jours précédents, dans les limites des dispositions légales.
Art. 2
La Chancellerie fédérale est chargée de prendre, conformément aux prescrip- tions légales, toutes les mesures nécessaires pour la votation.
Art. 3
Le présent arrêté sera communiqué aux cantons et publié dans la Feuille fédérale.
