The appellant challenged the Cantonal Government’s approval of a detailed land-use plan for a municipal sector. Before the tribunal ruled on the merits, the appellant withdrew the appeal by letter of 19 January 2001. The Tribunal of territorial planning therefore held that the matter had become moot and ordered the appeal struck from the docket. It also decided that no court fees or costs would be collected.
Withdrawal of the appeal renders the case moot; the court shall strike the proceeding from the roll. In such circumstances, and absent special reasons, no court fees or costs are imposed (consid. implicit).
