hat der Kantonsgerichtspräsident,
nachdem sich ergeben und in Erwägung:
dass Rechtsanwalt B.________ gegen das Urteil des kantonalen Jugendgerichts vom 31. August 2018 innert Frist am 17. September 2018 Berufung angemeldet hat (Art. 399 Abs. 1 StPO);
dass das begründete Urteil am 5. Dezember 2018 zum Versand gekommen ist;
dass Rechtsanwalt B.________ mit Schreiben vom 21. Dezember 2018 dem Kantonsgericht den Rückzug der angemeldeten Berufung bekannt gegeben hat (KG-act. 3);
dass demnach das Verfahren zufolge Rückzugs der Berufungsanmeldung präsidial nach § 40 Abs. 2 JG abzuschreiben ist;
dass die Gerichtskosten der zweiten Instanz bei diesem Ausgang zu Lasten des Staates gehen;-
verfügt:
1. Die Berufung wird als durch Rückzug der Berufungsanmeldung erledigt abgeschrieben.
2. Die zweitinstanzlichen Gerichtskosten von Fr. 300.00 gehen zu Lasten des Staates.
3. Gegen diesen Entscheid kann innert 30 Tagen seit Zustellung nach Massgabe von Art. 78 ff. des Bundesgerichtsgesetzes *Beschwerde in Strafsachen * beim Bundesgericht in Lausanne eingereicht werden. Die Beschwerdeschrift muss den Anforderungen von Art. 42 BGG entsprechen.
4. Zufertigung an die Oberstaatsanwaltschaft (1/R) und die Privatklägerin (1/R) je unter Beilage des Rückzugs vom 21. Dezember 2018 [KG-act. 3], Rechtsanwalt B.________ (2/R), die Jugendanwaltschaft des Kantons Schwyz (1/A) und die Vorinstanz (1/ü) sowie nach definitiver Erledigung an die Vorinstanz (1/ES, ohne Akten [die Akten JGO 2018 1 werden im Dossier STK 2018 53 retourniert]; zum Vollzug und zur Erstattung der Meldungen an das Verkehrsamt und an die KOST) sowie an die Kantonsgerichtskasse (1/ü, im Dispositiv).
