The Schwyz Cantonal Court dealt with a complaint against the costs imposed in a prosecutor’s discontinuance order concerning driving while incapable. The decision on costs is a procedural consequence of the termination of the remedy and does not require a merits determination on the challenged cost allocation (consid. implicit).

(Beschwerde gegen die Einstellungsverfügung der Staatsanwaltschaft Innerschwyz vom 14. März 2017, SUI 2017 62);-
hat die Kantonsgerichtsvizepräsidentin,
nachdem sich ergeben und in Erwägung:
dass die Staatsanwaltschaft Innerschwyz mit Verfügung vom 14. März 2017 das Strafverfahren (SUI 2017 62) gegen A.________ wegen Fahrens in fahrunfähigem Zustand (30. Dezember 2016, X) einstellte, indes die Verfahrenskosten von total Fr. 1‘507.25 A.________ auferlegte und ihm weder eine Entschädigung noch eine Genugtuung zusprach;
dass A.________ (nachfolgend Beschwerdeführer) mit Eingabe vom 27. März 2017 (Postaufgabe: 29. März 2017) innert Frist gegen die Kostenauflage Beschwerde erhob (KG-act. 1);
dass der Beschwerdeführer mit Eingabe vom 8. Mai 2017 seine Beschwerde zurückzog (KG-act. 8), was zur Verfahrensabschreibung führt (§ 40 Abs. 2 JG);
dass ausgangsgemäss der Beschwerdeführer für das Rechtsmittelverfahren kostenpflichtig wird (Art. 428 Abs. 1 StPO), jedoch ausnahmsweise von einer Kostenerhebung abzusehen ist;-
:
1. Die Beschwerde wird als durch Rückzug erledigt abgeschrieben.
2. Es werden keine Kosten für das Beschwerdeverfahren erhoben.
3. Gegen diesen Entscheid kann innert 30 Tagen seit Zustellung nach Massgabe von Art. 78 ff. des Bundesgerichtsgesetzes *Beschwerde in Strafsachen * beim Bundesgericht in Lausanne eingereicht werden. Die Beschwerdeschrift muss den Anforderungen von Art. 42 BGG entsprechen.
4. Zufertigung an den Beschwerdeführer (1/R), die Oberstaatsanwaltschaft (1/R) und die Staatsanwaltschaft Innerschwyz (1/R, unter Beilage von KG-act. 8 in Kopie, sowie nach Rechtskraft 1/R, mit den Akten).
