Kernrechtsfrage
Whether the cantonal IV office lacked territorial competence to revoke the pension
Extrahierter Entscheid
The office was territorially incompetent, but the revocation was not void and could be left in place for reasons of procedural economy.
Extrahierte Begründung
An act by an locally incompetent IV office is generally only challengeable, not null. Since the insured had not raised the objection and the file allowed a merits decision, sending the matter to the competent foreign-insurance office would have been pointless, especially because that office expressly agreed with the decision.
