Visto:
il ricorso del 27 marzo 2008 (timbro postale) contro il giudizio del Tribunale amministrativo federale del 14 febbraio 2008,
il decreto del 7 maggio 2008, con il quale il Tribunale federale ha assegnato a C.________, patrocinato dall'avv. Luigi Potenza, un termine suppletorio, scadente il 26 maggio 2008, per versare un anticipo spese di fr. 500.- avvertendolo che in caso di mancato pagamento il ricorso sarebbe stato dichiarato inammissibile,
l'atto del 26 giugno 2008, con il quale questa Corte ha respinto, in assenza di un motivo particolare ai sensi dell'art. 62 cpv. 1 LTF, la domanda dell'interessato di essere esonerato (quantomeno parzialmente) dal pagamento dell'anticipo richiesto e gli ha assegnato un nuovo termine, non prorogabile, di 10 giorni per provvedere al pagamento di detto importo,

considerando:
che il ricorrente non ha versato l'anticipo spese nel termine suppletorio impartitogli,
che, statuendo secondo la procedura semplificata di cui all'art. 108 cpv. 1 lett. a LTF, il ricorso dev'essere di conseguenza dichiarato irricevibile conformemente a quanto previsto dall'art. 62 cpv. 3 LTF,
che nonostante la procedura sia di principio onerosa, viste le circostanze non si prelevano spese giudiziarie (art. 66 cpv. 1 in fine LTF),

per questi motivi, il Presidente pronuncia:

Il ricorso è inammissibile.

2.
Non si prelevano spese giudiziarie.

3.
Comunicazione alle parti, al Tribunale amministrativo federale, Corte III, e all'Ufficio federale delle assicurazioni sociali.
