Beschwerde gegen den Entscheid des Obergerichts des Kantons Aargau, Beschwerdekammer in Strafsachen, vom 25. Juli 2011.

Der Einzelrichter zieht in Erwägung:

Im angefochtenen Entscheid wurde eine Fristwiederherstellung ausgeschlossen. Zur Begründung führte die Vorinstanz aus, dass das Verpassen der Rechtsmittelfrist selbstverschuldet im Sinne von Art. 94 Abs. 1 StPO sei. Auf die verspätet eingereichte Beschwerde wurde daher nicht eingetreten. Damit befasst sich der Beschwerdeführer vor Bundesgericht mit keinem Wort. Er macht vielmehr ausschliesslich geltend, derzeit nicht hafterstehungsfähig zu sein. Er sei zwar wegen rechtswidrigen Aufenthalts in der Schweiz zu einer unbedingten Freiheitsstrafe von vier Monaten verurteilt worden, sein angeschlagener Gesundheitszustand lasse einen Gefängnisaufenthalt derzeit aber nicht zu, was auch der ihn behandelnde Psychiater bestätigen könne. Aus diesen Ausführungen des Beschwerdeführers ergibt sich nicht ansatzweise, inwieweit der angefochtene Entscheid das Recht im Sinne von Art. 95 BGG verletzen könnte. Die Frage nach seiner Hafterstehungsfähigkeit bildet nicht Gegenstand des vorliegenden Verfahrens. Auf die Beschwerde ist im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Auf eine Kostenauflage kann ausnahmsweise verzichtet werden.

Demnach erkennt der Einzelrichter:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

Es werden keine Kosten erhoben.

3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Aargau, Beschwerdekammer in Strafsachen, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
