The decision was issued by a single judge in the Criminal Division and notified to the parties and the Cantonal Court of Schwyz.

Effect of the withdrawal of the complaint on the pending federal proceedings
The complaint was removed from the docket because it had become moot after withdrawal.
Once the appellant withdrew the complaint, there was no longer a live dispute for the court to decide.
Allocation of court costs after withdrawal
No court costs were charged.
Because the proceedings were struck out as moot following withdrawal, the court waived costs.
