The appellant challenged a decision of the Zurich Higher Court in a civil debt-enforcement matter. The Federal Supreme Court had previously ordered a CHF 2,000 court advance and granted an extension. The appellant still did not pay the advance, did not remit it at a post office for the benefit of the Federal Supreme Court, and did not provide proof of timely payment by debit confirmation. The President therefore held that the complaint could not be entered into and imposed court costs of CHF 200 on the appellant.
Art. 62 Abs. 3, Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a and Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG; non-payment of the court advance after expiry of the grace period. If the appellant neither pays the ordered advance within the extended deadline nor substantiates timely payment, the Federal Supreme Court does not enter into the complaint. The party in default bears the court costs. The non-entry mechanism applies strictly once the warning and grace period have been granted and the statutory conditions are fulfilled (consid. 1).

in den vorgenannten Beschluss des Obergerichts des Kantons Zürich,
in die Verfügung vom 9. Juni 2008 betreffend Ansetzung einer Nachfrist zur Leistung eines Kostenvorschusses von Fr. 2'000.--,
in Erwägung,
dass der Beschwerdeführer den Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 2'000.-- auch innerhalb der ihm mit Verfügung vom 9. Juni 2008 gesetzten Nachfrist weder bei der Bundesgerichtskasse in bar geleistet noch zu deren Gunsten an einem Postschalter übergeben und auch nicht den (für den Fall eines Zahlungsauftrags) ihm obliegenden Nachweis der rechtzeitigen Vorschussleistung durch Belastungsbestätigung erbracht hat, weshalb androhungsgemäss gestützt auf Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG im Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a BGG auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist und die Beschwerdeführer kostenpflichtig wird (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG),
erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 200.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zürich, III. Zivilkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.

Whether the complaint should be entered into despite non-payment of the requested court advance
No. The advance was neither paid nor duly evidenced within the supplementary deadline, so the complaint had to be dismissed without entry.
Under Art. 62(3) BGG, failure to pay the advance after a grace period leads to non-entry pursuant to Art. 108(1)(a) BGG.
Allocation of court costs
Court costs of CHF 200 were charged to the appellant.
Because the complaint was not entered into, the appellant bore the costs under Art. 66(1) BGG.
