Zusammenfassung

The Swiss Federal Supreme Court held that the constitutional complaint could not be entered into because the appellant did not pay the required advance on costs even within the additional deadline set by the court. The appellant was ordered to pay court costs of CHF 500. The decision was notified to the parties and to the Appellationsgericht of Basel-Stadt.

Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG; Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a BGG; non-payment of the required advance costs after expiry of the additional deadline results in non-entry into the appeal. If the advance is not paid despite a grace period, the appeal is inadmissible in summary procedure. Court costs are allocated to the unsuccessful party pursuant to Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG.

Verfassungsbeschwerde gegen das Urteil des Appellationsgerichts des Kantons Basel-Stadt, Ausschuss, vom 26. Januar 2011.
In Erwägung,
dass die Beschwerdeführerin den ihr auferlegten Kostenvorschuss auch innerhalb der mit Verfügung vom 5. Oktober 2011 angesetzten Nachfrist nicht geleistet hat, weshalb gestützt auf Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG und im Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a BGG auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist;

dass die Gerichtskosten der Beschwerdeführerin aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG);

erkennt die Präsidentin:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden der Beschwerdeführerin auferlegt.

3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Appellationsgericht des Kantons Basel-Stadt, Ausschuss, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
