Considérant:
Que le 28 janvier 2004, le Tribunal correctionnel de l'arrondissement de l'Est vaudois a rejeté une demande de relief formée par A.________ à propos d'un jugement rendu le 5 novembre 2002;
Que par arrêt du 17 mars 2004, notifié le 22 juin suivant, la Cour de cassation pénale du Tribunal cantonal du canton de Vaud a rejeté le recours formé par A.________ contre le jugement du 28 janvier 2004, qu'elle a confirmé;
Que A.________ a recouru auprès du Tribunal fédéral;
Que l'acte de recours contient de longs développements sans rapport avec l'objet de l'arrêt attaqué;
Qu'il est ainsi irrecevable au regard de l'art. 90 al. 1 let. b OJ (ATF 130 I 26 consid. 2.1 p. 31; 129 I 113 consid. 2.1 p. 120; 128 II 50 consid. 1c p. 53/54, et les arrêts cités);
Qu'il est en outre émaillé de termes injurieux à l'égard des autorités judiciaires;
Qu'il participe ainsi de démarches abusives au sens de l'art. 36a al. 2 OJ (cf. l'arrêt 1P.21/2002 du 21 janvier 2002, concernant le recourant);
Qu'il n'y a pas lieu d'entrer en matière;
Qu'il est renoncé à l'émolument judiciaire;
Par ces motifs, vu l'art. 36a OJ, le Tribunal fédéral prononce:

Le recours est irrecevable.

Il n'est pas perçu d'émolument judiciaire.
3.
Le présent arrêt est communiqué en copie au recourant et à la Cour de cassation pénale du Tribunal cantonal du canton de Vaud.
